Bonnie Lee Kissner has been a member of the Harford County USBC WBA & Harford County WBA for 35 years.
 
 Bonnie was elected as a Director in 1988 and 2nd Vice President in 1998. In 1999 she became the 1st Vice President and in 2000 was elected President and served for 4 years.
 
Bonnie served as chairman on almost all committees. In 1990 as Chairman of the Tournament Visitation Committee, our local had the most entries (81 Teams). Programs instituted by Bonnie include Local Golden Decoy Tournament, Lighthouse Tournament, President's Award, Board Service Pin and the Kathryn Scott Shooting Star Award.

 

 
Bonnie also created Cecil Harford YABA Snake Bite Tournament and served as its director from 1992 -1998.
 
She served as secretary/treasurer from 1989 -1998. She instituted and directed the local Valentines Scotch Doubles from 1992 -2002. While a member of the Cecil Harford YABA she was appointed 1990 Eastern Maryland Junior Bowling Association Director, the National Valuable Service Award in 1995, Cecil Harford Service Award in 2000 and was a certified youth instructor.
 
In 1991 WillC recognized Bonnie as a Future Leader for which she proved time and time again to be worthy. She was elected as Secretary ofthe Year in 1992 -1993. Over 35 years, Bonnie served various offices in her leagues, including President and Secretary.
 
In 2005 she was elected Life Member of the Harford County Women's Bowling Association. For 35 years she has been a member of the Maryland State WBA and served the board in various capacities, director, secretary, treasurer and president. During her tenure she initiated the Breast Cancer Bowl for the Cure and was recognized by WIBC.
 
Bonnie was inducted into the Maryland State Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame for Meritorious Services in 2004. In 2006 Bonnie became the first president of the new Maryland State USBC Association. Other affiliations include membership in National Women's Bowlers Writers, Maryland Women's Bowling Wnters, national 600 club, and State Team USA Committees 1995 -1999.
 
At the 2004 Harford County WBA Open Meeting, the members elected Bonnie to the honorary position of Life member.
 
Bonnie has given her time and devotion to the bowling community wIth the love and support of her husband Mel, mother Ruby, son Frank, daughters Dawn and Nicole and grandchildren, Ryan, Daniel, Drew, Kyle, Bonnie, and Julia. Congratulations Bonnie on a job well done.
