Donna was born in Havre de Grace, MD on September 10, 1956. Her parents lived in the Joppa-Magnolia area at that time. Her Husband, George, of 26 years, is a federal government employee and son, Derrick, graduated from Bel AirHigh School in 2001.
Donna did not begin bowling until 1988 when she was 32 years old. She progressed quickly and had much success in leagues as well as tournaments.
In the very next bowling season, she entered the HCWBA Championship Tournament and won All Events (Hdcp) with a total of 1885. Since then she has won titles in the Singles, Doubles, Team and All Events categories, both scratch and handicap.
When the 500 and 600 Clubs were active, Donna won titles in both. In both 1999 and 2000 Donna captured fIrst place in the High Rollers Tournament at Harford Lanes.
In 2000-2001, she won the Margaret Russell Award with a 201.01 average for the season. She won it again in the 2001-02 season with a 200.59 average. She bowled three 700 series in the 2001-02 season and had an 800 series in a WASA event in Milford, Connecticut. She was the third Harford Countian to bowl an 800 series. In the 1994-95 season, she rolled the high series in the Association -a 744. In 1996 she rolled the high game in the Association, a 300. It was only the second 300 game bowled by an HCWBA member. She did it again in 2002 when she rolled 300 in a regional tournament in West Virginia. She averaged 201 for the tournament.
In the 2003-2004 HCWBA Championship Tournament, Donna was a member ofthe winning team. Her success has spanned many years -she's a winner! !
